~Hi Kids, This Is Your Page~

Are you bored, nothing to do during the summer or after school?
Try getting involved in something, your free time is what you make of it.
TV and video games are all right,
but too much can become boring and a waste of time.
The same goes for on-line computing, surfing is great,
but don't make it your only thing.
Do you like hanging with friends more, perhaps there is
something you and friend(s) can do or join together.
If you already checked out the school activities and sports
and they are not for you,
here are a few ideas you may want to explore.

Scouting is Cool

Are you looking for year round fun, projects, activities,
crafts, learning, camping and much much more...
Scouting is for you.
Ask around, find out who is in scouting and talk with them
about how they like it and what they do.

4-H projects cover just about every facet of the imagination
that you might be interested in,
go to their site to find out more.

LIBRARY!! WHAT? Do you mean go to the library?
Hey, reading is great, but they have more than just books.
The library has special events all the time, maybe something
that you have an interest in and the events usually are free.
Watch for the announcements in your local newspaper or pennysaver.

CHURCHES
Check with your local churches about their youth group programs.

MEALS on WHEELS
Are you a responsible young adult?
Would you like to help out some great senior citizens in you area
by delivering hot meals? You don't drive, team up with one of your
parents and deliver together. Call your local Meals on Wheels for details.
